    Do parents/guardians need to stay for the Open House?
    Yes, the program is designed for prospective students and parents/guardians.

    Will there be an Entrance Exam? St. Augustine Prep’s Scholarship Exam will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

    Known as the “Head of School Scholarship Exam,” this assessment serves as a baseline for consideration for potential scholarships. All current 7th and 8th Grade students applying to the Prep (for Grades 8 and 9) are welcome to participate in the evening. Families should be reminded that participation in the exam is not required for admittance to St. Augustine Prep.

8:15 a.m. | Doors Open!

Registration will occur between 8:15 a.m. and 9 a.m. at the main entrance to the Buondonno Forum. Coffee and light snacks will be served!

9:00 a.m. | Welcome & Student Experience

Student-musicians will welcome you with their talents, school leaders will speak about the school's program, and current students will share their experiences. 

10:00 a.m. | Campus Experience

Student-led campus tours will familiarize you with all aspects of life at St. Augustine. This is the perfect time to ask questions of your student guides and accompanying faculty members. Academics, Athletics, Student Life, Mission and Ministry, Fine and Performing Arts, Innovation and Engineering, Signature Programs, and more!

12:15 p.m. | Divide and Conquer!

After the Campus Experience, families will have several options!

  • Application Process and Affordability - Our Director of Admissions and Executive Director for Major Gifts will provide a comprehensive overview of the application process and financial aid program at St. Augustine Prep.

  • Athletic Facility Tours—Our athletic department is excited to showcase our exceptional facilities during a 30-minute tour from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. and 1 pm - 1:30 pm.

  • Eighth Grade Meet & Greet— Our Director of the eighth-grade Program will host an informational session in the ELITE Center in the Scarpa Building. All interested families are encouraged to attend a casual Q&A session with our eighth-grade students, faculty, and leadership.

  • Student Services at St. Augustine—Join us for an engaging session with our Counseling and Student Services team. We'll share the personalized support and resources available to students with 504 plans and IEP designations. Discover how our tailored programs foster growth, independence, and academic success, ensuring every student can thrive within our community.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Hang with The Hermits - Our Hermit Ambassadors will host a “FunFest” for prospective students who want to have some fun on the quad! This is also a great opportunity for your son to remain engaged while you attend one of our Divide-and-Conquer options.

Campus Exploration & Faculty Engagement - St. Augustine Prep is open to you! Please use the campus map to explore campus and engage with our exceptional Faculty.

Departure - Families who are well-informed and ready to head home are more than welcome to depart campus after the Campus Experience Rotations.
